At Saturday 1 May 2004 Terra Gotha VIII had a double headlining bill with exclusive gigs from The Last Dance (USA) and Dead Souls Rising (F). As usual De Piek was packed with Goths from all over Holland, Belgium, Germany and France, let the sweatfest begin. During the day people were still desperate trying to get their hands on tickets and the phone at De Piek kept ringing all day.
Dead Souls Rising from France had to drive for over 13 (!) hours from France to Vlissingen but they still had fun at Terra Gotha VIII. The Last Dance were awake for over 30 (!) hours. It's amazing how both bands still managed to survive the tremendous heat at De Piek. Both bands really loved the Terra Gotha atmosphere and were happy to play there. As a special 'Thank You' promoter Wim de Nooyer came up with the idea to have both bands take the stage to do a cover version of Iggy Pop's classic song 'Now I Wanna Be Your Dog' which was abso-fucking-lutely amazing. Here are some pics to relive Terra Gotha VIII.
