The first Terra Gotha Festival which took place at the dark heart of
Vlissingen was a big succes in many ways. Many people attended the event, not
only from Holland but also fans from Belgium, Germany and France showed up.
Except for 3 bands we also a had a freakshow and a Gothic
fashionshow to entertain the crowd during the change overs on stage.
We got lots of positive reactions from the media, finally we are getting rid of
the negative image that the press used to have about Gothic.
Here are just some shots from the bands and acts that all did a brilliant performance on
the first Terra Gotha.
The Breath Of Life

The Breath Of Life entered the stage with new
guitarist Didier, which came as a surprise to most of the fans. He played the
songs as if he played with the band for years. The setlist contained songs that
haven't been played live for a long time. The band didn't gave a shit about the
sound license (cool) and gave the audience a brilliant performance. For video

This was Sophya's second performance in Holland.
Almost every beautiful song from their debut album was played. All eyes were
focused on singer Sophya and Idan during the whole concert. This was Atmospheric

Daeonia (more pics

The dutch Gothic Progressive Rock band Daeonia
opened Terra Gotha festival. The new singer and bassplayer both did a splendid
job. Most material came from their new CD Crescendo, the Sisters Of Mercy cover
Alice was also included in the set with some older songs. For video from Daeonia

Gothic Fashion Show
The Gothic Fashionshow was brought to you by Hebbes
Bijoux and X-Ray Fashion from
Vlissingen and Goes. Six lovely models showed the clothes, lenses, hair
extensions, jewelry, body paint, in a demonic and sensual way.
The music was a mix from excerpts of Faith And The Muse, Soundtrack From
Hellraiser, Dead Souls Rising and The Aphex Twins. People reacted very
positively to the fashion show and wished it would have last longer.

Wes Freakshow
Well, what can you say about Wes, he
is like an unguided missile. You never know what he will do next. Some might
hate him, others just love him. I know I had a great time watching his act,
which was brought with a great sense of humour, and a good taste for music as
well.
This was the first gig for his tour
in Holland and Germany, a promoter from the prestigious Dour Festival in Belgium
also came over to Terra Gotha, and immediately booked him for this Belgian
festival as well.
